A big thank-you to all the participants of my Self-Discovery workshop in Tinakilly Country House. It was a glorious day and we had an enjoyable, self-discovering time.
So much so that I have decided to run another workshop on Sunday 7 July from 2 to 5, this time using the theme 'Nourishment'. Cost €30 pp including refreshments.
If you would like to take part, please let me know and I will add your name to the waiting list.

Self-Discovery through Poetry - Wicklow Arts Festival
Self-Discovery through Poetry Workshop in assoc with Wicklow Arts Festival
Poetry
inspires and renews us time and again. When we read or hear a poem, our senses,
hearts, minds, and souls all participate in the act. Because poems elicit
responses on so many levels, they often function as vehicles for enlightenment
and healing.
Sunday 26 May '13
2pm – 5pm
€30 (incl refreshments)
No previous experience of writing poetry or prose is necessary.
A booking deposit of €10 is essential to hold your place. Please send your name, address and contact details with deposit to Carol Boland, Grove Mill, Hollyfort, Gorey, Co. Wexford.

ONLINE POETRY THERAPY GROUP
IPTN (Irish Poetry Therapy Network) are currently running their first online poetry therapy group. It is a six week session, facilitated by Ger and myself, on the theme 'Fun and Nonesense poetry' and is a closed group where participants email their comments and reactions to each other on the various poems selected by the facilitators.
This is IPTN's first attempt at an online session so fingers crossed that it will be a success and, hopefully, the first of regular online group sessions.

Group Poetry Therapy Sessions
I am delighted that there has been such a positive reaction to my poetry therapy group sessions. I have now worked with Writers' groups in Wicklow Town and Arklow, a Gorey school group of 10-12 year olds (74 pupils), a Men's group in Arklow and a group in Gorey Library. I have also worked with many individuals in Dublin and Wicklow.
A big thank-you to all those groups and individuals who have had the courage to join me in my training.
